Sundial

2007

Instalation cosist of electric train, microcamera in wagon and video projection. Scenary arround trails is rhytmicaly repeated (12 trees and 12 houses). Projection represents life picture from the wagon. Due to the lighting there is shadow play on the surface of the houses. Mechanism produce a kind of sundial effect and regular rythm creates an animation like result. The system works as a moving picture apparatus where not the celuloid but the country in front of the lens is sequenced.
