Project 170 years is based on similar visual concept as project 300 000 000 years. Tree is cut in to fragments and interior of each segment is cut out depending on the year organization.

Image from the video camcorder is also projected in to a TV screen. Here the eye of the camera is looking through the all trunk catching only the last piece of the wood.

Visitor can walk in between and find himself somewhere in invisible tree.
